Subject: Revised ANSI Lumen
Ratings for PLC-EF10NA and PLC-XF10N
Sanyo Fisher Company believes it
is important to keep our customers informed as to what level
of performance can be expected from our products. To that end,
we are publishing the following information with regard to the
ANSI Lumen rating of the PLC-EF10NA and PLC-XF10N model
projectors:
Both the PLC-EF10NA and PLC-XF10N
model projectors were originally designed to use a 440 watt
lamp assembly and a 440 watt ballast. Our factory has made the
determination that using a 400 watt ballast with the 440 watt
lamp results in a substantial increase in product reliability.
Therefore, both the PLC-EF10NA and PLC-XF10N models will ship
with the 400 watt ballast.
This change in the ballast will
have an effect on the ANSI Lumen output of these two
projectors. Therefore, we are announcing the revised ANSI
Lumen ratings of these projectors as follows:
PLC-EF10NA
3000 ANSI Lumens (typical)
PLC-XF10N
2700 ANSI Lumens (typical)
We are confident that these
projectors, in their current form, offer the best value in the
industry for large-venue LCD Projection product. Sanyo will
continue to strive to bring to market the best products in LCD
projection technology.
