WHAT'S NEW

You asked for it, and now it's finally available!!!
The New MPA-5500
The MPA-5500 now has a dedicated speaker output jack specifically for powering the MP-5501 companion speaker. A second internal amplifier has been added so that the audience coverage is the same as with using the older MPA-5000/MPA-5100 combination, but at a very competitive retail price.

All of the unique features of the MPA-5000 have been retained in the new MPA-5500, such as the Music/Project switch which changes the response of the system for either full range music reproduction or for clear voice projection under high ambient noise conditions. The Music/Project switch affects both the MPA-5500 and the MP-5501 companion simultaneously. The MPA-5500 also retains the Active Limiter, which minimizes distortion from overdriving the speakers.

The MPA-5500 will also be available with single and dual channel wireless configurations as well as a built-in cassette player.

With the new MP-5501/MPA-5500 package, you will be able to fill your customer's applications as you have in the past with older Xtreme packages, but at a much more competitive price point. All in all, a definite win-win situation for both you and your customer!

The New MP-5501
unpowered Companion speaker for the Xtreme MPA-5500 system.

It uses the same speaker components as the new MPA-5500/MPA-5000, so you will get the same clear clean voice and music reproduction you have come to expect from the Xtreme series systems.

It requires only a single speaker cable using a Speakon® connector to interface with the new MPA-5500. It does not require a separate power connection, so hook up is a breeze.

The New AN-100IR
The new AN-100IR has all the same features of the original AN-100W-1 wireless product with the added advantage of:

• Because IR transmissions are line of sight, multiple units of the AN-100IR can be used in the same general area, as long as they are separated by 4 walls and a ceiling (typical multiple classroom use)
• The AN-100IR is not susceptible to interference from other wireless transmitters operating in the same area.
• The AN-100IR is ideal as an add-on to video projection presentation system.

Benefits of IR wireless vs. RF wireless transmission:

Line of sight operation:
In a school application, each room can use an AN-100IR without fear of overlapping transmissions from adjacent classrooms. It is no longer necessary to sort through different frequency pairs to accommodate this type of usage.

Not subject to RF interference:
IR wireless transmissions are not subject to RF interference (i.e. TV transmission), and will provide a cleaner overall sound quality than standard RF wireless transmitter/receiver combinations.

Applications:
Multiple school classrooms, video/audio presentations, lectures, use in applications where there is RF interference (near TV stations/transmitter towers).
