The Dataton AIRLINK system (AIRLINK TRANSMITTER and AIRLINK RECEIVER) can function in the following ways:

• As a remote control device connected to Dataton SMARTPAX QC.
• As a remote control unit for simple slide projector rigs connected to one SMARTPAX QC (max. four projectors).
• As a remote control unit for a MacOS computer running TRAX or virtually any other application.

The customizable transmitter has a range of at least 10m. It is powered by a lithium battery, with a 10 year lifespan, and housed in a rugged aluminum case. Four keys mimic the arrow keys on the Mac keyboard; the remaining nine keys mimic function keys F5 to F13 on the Apple Extended Keyboard. The keys can be individually labeled using the AIRLINK OVERLAY KIT supplied.
